Contribute will use this space to inform you of a range of situations, including; you have already

created a draft of a given page (as in the example above); the page is locked as someone else is

editing it; or you don’t have the necessary privileges to edit the page.

The Contribute Toolbars

The Contribute toolbar changes depending on whether you are browsing or editing a page.

The Browser Toolbar (Figure 3) contains buttons for navigating your web site or creating a new

page.

The Editor Toolbar (Figure 4) contains buttons for editing and common operations from the File,

Insert, Format, and Table drop down menus.

The Contribute Sidebar

The sidebar (Error! Reference source not found.) has 2 parts:

 The Pages panel provides access to the web browser and all drafts and new pages you’re

currently editing, enabling you to easily switch between them.

 The How Do I panel provides quick step by step instructions to help you complete some

common Contribute tasks. The list of tasks changes depending on whether you are browsing or

editing.

You can resize, expand or collapse either of the Panels, or the Sidebar as a whole.
