What Buttons Can You Define?
You can define the following unique buttons for the Query Navigator component, and you
can order them in any way that you like to build the navigation bar:
How to Insert a Query Navigator Component
Follow the instructions below to insert a Query Navigator component, either in
Dreamweaver, or manually using your HTML editor.
The Query Navigator component contains two sections:
The component tag, which defines the button type for the navigation bar
The body section, which defines the specific button text and images for each of the
buttons

In Dreamweaver, place the insertion point where you want to insert the component.

Click Window | Objects to display the Objects palette.

Button Description
First active Links to the first page in the AssetQuery result set; displays
when the link is active
First inactive Links to the first page in the AssetQuery result set; displays
when the link is inactive
Last active Links to the last page in the AssetQuery result set; displays
when the link is active
Last inactive Links to the last page in the AssetQuery result set; displays
when the link is inactive
Next active Links to the next page in the AssetQuery result set, relative to
the current page; displays when the link is active
Next inactive Links to the next page in the AssetQuery result set, relative to
the current page; displays when the link is inactive
Parent Links to the page that contains the original AssetQuery
component
Previous active Links to the previous page in the AssetQuery result set, relative
to the current page; displays when the link is active
Previous inactive Links to the previous page in the AssetQuery result set, relative
to the current page; displays when the link is inactive
IMPORTANT!
You must define a query using the AssetQuery component in order to use the Query
Navigator component. The AssetQuery component is required to determine which files
the Query Navigator component will generate links to. Additionally, the AssetQuery
component must include a
layout
property, which must refer to the details page that
includes the QueryNavigator component.
